Required Boarding Arrangements for Pilot - (Chinese Poster)

In accordance with IMO requirements and IMPA recommendations, this Chinese version of the laminated A3 colour card shows ‘dos and don'ts’ and different arrangements for pilot boarding. This edition covers subjects such as ‘Safe Approach of the Pilot Boat’ and the ‘Installation of Pilot Ladder Winch Reels’. It also includes requirements detailed in SOLAS Ch V Reg 23, that entered into force on 1st July 2012.
This is an update of the poster previously approved by IMO and circulated under MSC/Circ.568/Rev.1. The current poster was approved by the IMO NAV57 Committee in July 2011 and was ratified at IMO’s Maritime Safety Committee in May 2012 as part of a revision of SOLAS Regulation 23.
