Static bundle allows users to easily verify the mooring arrangements of LNG carriers at classic berths and quays in the 3D environment. Users can conduct single case mooring analysis (entering one wind and one current parameters) or generate reports with changing wind and current parameters.
A variety of reports are available, including:
- Overview and detailed reports for a specific case
- Wind limit report
- OCIMF criteria reports
- Batch calculations
- Dynamic report – includes wind gusts and waves. Requires SHIPMOOR - Dynamic Bundle (purchased separately)

Each bundle gives you 10,000 calculation tokens (1 token = 1 calculation), to be used at https://www.shipmoor.com/
To help you decide how many tokens you are likely to need, please see below an example of how many calculations the various reports use:
- Mooring arrangement validation: 1 calculation every new session
- Single case of load condition, tide, wind, current, waves: 1 calculation
- OCIMF report: 8 cases of current x 24 wind directions = 192 calculations (x 2 for ballast and fully laden scenarios)
- Wind sweep report: 5 limits to find (lines % MBL/LDBF, hooks SWL, fenders max pressure, max surge, max sway) x 24 wind directions = 120 calculations
- Batch calculations: the number N of cases set up by the user = N calculations.
An account comes with the following pre-sets:
- Six typical base LNG carriers
- All the ships shared by other users
- All LNG berth data available in LNG Port Info
- Mooring line and tail data
- Fender data
Please note that dynamic calculations require at least one static calculation per session to validate the mooring arrangement before adding waves and wind gusts. Therefore, you will need to purchase at least one bundle of static calculations.
Tokens are valid for 3 years from the purchase date, after which they will expire if unused. Online training is included with the purchase. Technical support is available during UK working hours.
