Witherby Connect is cyber safe

There have been several reports of cyber attacks against companies in our industry this week.

This is a relevant time to remind our customers that Witherby Connect is the safest way to access your maritime publications and flag State regulations online. Witherby Connect was developed by our in-house technical experts and was created fundamentally with cyber security in mind. Adding an additional layer of security, Witherby Connect runs within a browser sandbox, meaning it cannot interact with other files stored on the computer or network. This removes the risk of the effects of a cyber attack when using Witherby Connect. 

Witherby Connect complies with the MSC-FAL.1/Circ.3 cyber risk management policy referenced in IMO Resolution MSC.428(98).
